Frequently Asked Questions
You’ve Got Questions. We’ve Got Answers.
My pet has a special diet. Can their needs be accommodated?
Yes. We can provide a variety of food, both wet and dry, however special dietary requirements can also be accommodated. Any food or supplements should be brought in with the pet and fully explained to the kennel staff on arrival.
What do you supply for overnight boarding?
We can provide bedding and blankets for your pet's stay. However many customers also like to bring beds, blankets or sheets from home. This helps make the dog or cat feel more comfortable with familiar smells.
Can I supply my own food for my pets stay?
Yes you can. We include food in the nightly price, however if your pet has a particular favourite or special requirement you can bring that in at the time of drop-off and we will use it.
Can I bring my dog's/cat's favourite toy/blanket/bedding?
For dogs, please limit it to one or two small toys only, along with any blankets or sheets. Please avoid large or heavy bedding.
For cats, toys should again be limited to one or two small toys. However by arrangement we can also accommodate a cat scratching post or tower for longer stays.
My pet is on medication. Can you administer this to them?
Please bring medication details at drop-off (ideally written down) and explain to the kennel staff what the dosage and daily requirements are.
Rest assured the pets are closely monitored and we will contact a vet if necessary.
When is my pet fed?
Dogs are fed twice a day morning and afternoon, using the specified or requested food.
Cats are fed according to the customers instructions. Most cats also have dry biscuit available at all times for grazing.
