Animal boarding has been operating on the current site in Stour Row, just outside Shaftesbury, for over 50 years. Branscombe Kennels and Cattery consistently offers high levels of care for the four-legged members of the families, from all across Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset.

Secure Exercise Arena is Open

We are happy to announce that our secure exercise and agility arena is now available for hire.

The arena is fenced on all sides, has a selection of dog agility equipment in it and can be hired for 1/2 hour, 1 hour or longer times.

Currently it is available for bookings starting at 9:00 in the morning, with the last booking at 15:00

COVID-19 Update

January 2021: OUR BOARDING & GROOMING SERVICES, SHOP AND AGILITY ARENA ARE ALL CURRENTLY OPEN FOR BUSINESS

We are continuing to operate the kennels and cattery much the same as before the COVID-19 outbreak, however we have made some changes to the way dogs and cats are dropped-off and picked-up to minimise person to person contact.

Our Services

Putting Your Pets First

We offer a year-round boarding service for when you are not able to be there yourself.

From single days and weekends to longer stays we strive to accommodate all requests.

We are able to offer a dog grooming service in our newly refurbished grooming salon.

Dogs can be groomed while they stay with us to save you another journey, or can be booked in independently, and can be pampered whenever they need it. Please contact us for an appointment.

Our cattery can accommodate over 30 cats, and our experienced staff will ensure your cat has a pleasant stay.

Pet Food Shop

We are now able to supply frozen raw meat, dry and wet dog food from our small shop on site. This new venture will continue to evolve and expand as our customers guide our stock choices.
